My weekend was spent in Ilocos Norte, one of the country's booming tourist spots and definitely highlights the Philippines' remarkable beauty. It was a memorable trip not only for me but also for my family.
As for the accomodation, Java Hotel which is located in Laoag City, gave us such a pleasurable and enjoyable stay not to mention the efficient and hospitable hotel staff! Here's their official website.

Java Hotel~ My sis and I had the same reaction when we first arrived... 'Dwarfina's Castle' xD |
It's amazing that they have their own swimming pool, tennis court, fitness gym, restaurant, Wifi and many more facilities! |
Just look at the hotel's interior~very unique! |
These bridges connect the different buildings of the hotel. |
We were on a food trip too! Set aside the painful 'D' word, 'Diet'. Eagle's Nest serves a wide range of cuisine, they have dishes from local Ilocano foods to International Japanese foods.
Baby Back Ribs~ one of their specialties! |
Puqui Puqui~ a local dish which consists of mashed eggplants, tomatoes and egg. |
Pinakbet with Bagnet (bagnet from Ilocos Norte is locally known as chicharon or deep-fried pork meat)~ A local Ilocano dish! |
We were on our way to Pagudpud when we stopped by the town of Pasuquin for their famous biscocho! |
Their famous biscocho was almost sold out! But luckily we were just on time! :D |
Cape Boujeador also known as Burgos light house is one of the North's cultural heritage |
Those gigantic windmills were fantastic! |
We really enjoyed our jump shots! |
Buying souvenirs! |
