Amethyst and I went gift hunting for her friend Rachel who had her debut last August 6 (Belated Happy 18th!J ). And after hours and hours of searching for that perfect gift, plus the fact that it’s almost lunch time – we were hungry!
We actually planned on eating at Tokyo Café but we still have to wait to be seated and we were really hungry and in a rush so we decided to dine at Bubble Tea instead.
This is my second time eating at Bubble Tea (the first is in Mega Mall which I blogged here). I like this branch better because of the place/interior.
The Place
More seating space + brighter looking place + casual ambiance = better dining experience Photo is from the official fan page of Bubble Tea |
This branch also has a 2nd floor Photo is from the official fan page of Bubble Tea |
The Food
Bubble Tea is definitely my to-go Japanese Resto! They have a wide range of menus at not-so-high prices! |
1. Okonomiyaki – batter wrapped around meat and vegetables topped with mayonnaise. Pizza Japanese style!
Okay – so the main reason why we ordered Okonomiyaki was because of Detective Conan! We got so curious on why Heiji liked this dish so much (this is the special episode of Movie 14).
2. Tonkatsu Yakisoba – Stir-fried noodles with breaded pork cutlet
3.
This was also the yakisoba that we ordered last time. This Yakisoba is a bit dry compared to the last Yakisoba we had. |
Yocca Yogurt Drink
Amethyst said it tasted like Paracetamol! LOL! This reminds me of the drink I always buy at UST Car Park. I like the royal milk tea better. |
Bubble Tea is located at SM North Edsa, SM the Block, Tomas Morato and Wilson St. Greenhills |
