nomnomnom: happy food ♥

I am the type of person who prefers cozy Friday nights than wild/party nights. For me, the most enchanting evenings are those still evenings spent with family/close friends and just talking or laughing about anything and everything.

This night is one of those enchanting nights I’m talking about - good food, good mood, good friends = lezz eat! hahaha

Nomnomnom Happy Food is like a secret hideout or fortress. It’s kind of hidden and there are no signboards directing you to nomnomnom. The only landmarks are the carwash sign and gas station. It was my first time going there but Ate Popsie is already their suki.

The Interior
The place reminds me of Heima, I am not very sure if they did the interiors of this uber cute place. It’s like the ones you see in those good ol’ American homes. Comfortable couches, bird houses here and there and many other cutesy stuffs. ♥

God is in ze details lang ang peg nila. Lolz

This is so classy and vintage! I love how they made use of the books to add height to
the lamp and put Christmas lights inside instead of just a light bulb, it adds to the dramatic effect.

Isn’t this adorable? If I could pick just one corner in this resto and put it in my room,
it would have to be this!

There are two kinds of light - the glow that illumines, and the glare that obscures.

I want to throw myself in this soft sofabed the moment I saw it. Hahaha

I can’t believe Christmas is officially near, it’s ber month already!

The Food : Where yummy and healthy go together

Their menu is perfect for those vegetarians and feeling vegetarians. It consists mainly of kangkong and most often than not cheese. Their food was light but equally filling.

Fried Ravioli crispy fried ravioli stuffed with kangkong, cream and cheese.
I like that this dish comes with a tomato dish, it kills the super creamy/cheesy taste.

King Kong Calzone I did not have the chance to taste this dish but according to my brother, ate Popsie and Kuya Adie, this dish is delish
Base from its physical appearance, I guess the kangkong mixture (kangkong +cheese) is enclosed in a shell of bread. It also has this tomato sauce beside it.

Hearty Tomato Soup It is hearty alright and it can make you reminisce about your childhood or your mom's cooking but I find this dish too sour for my taste. Go for this dish if you love sour stuffs or craving for something really healthy and light. Not much carbs.

Penne Pasta. It's carbonara-ish minus the bacons plus the kangkong

Enchilada this is their vegetarian version of lasagne. The meat was replace by kangkong but the taste was still great! This has a pretty big serving (Geline and I shared this dish)

Photo time!
It’s no secret that our family, as well as Geline, loves to take pictures!

 ubos! hahaha

say hi to geline!

I was trying to copy Mayo Wo's signature pose here. Emphasize on 'trying'.
LOL. I wouldn't have posted this photo if not for the cool bokeh effect on
the background. Galing no?
A positive soul is a happy soul. :)

Okaay. Seriously, what are you up to guys?

sweet!

Cool-O facial expression! hahaha
