Bubble Tea - Part II

Amethyst and I went gift hunting for her friend Rachel who had her debut last August 6 (Belated Happy 18th!J ). And after hours and hours of searching for that perfect gift, plus the fact that it’s almost lunch time – we were hungry!

We actually planned on eating at Tokyo Café but we still have to wait to be seated and we were really hungry and in a rush so we decided to dine at Bubble Tea instead.

This is my second time eating at Bubble Tea (the first is in Mega Mall which I blogged here). I like this branch better because of the place/interior.

The Place

More seating space + brighter looking place + casual ambiance = better dining experience

This branch also has a 2nd floor

The Food

Bubble Tea is definitely my to-go Japanese Resto! They have a wide range of menus at not-so-high prices!

1.    Okonomiyaki – batter wrapped around meat and vegetables topped with mayonnaise. Pizza Japanese style!

Okay – so the main reason why we ordered Okonomiyaki was because of Detective Conan! We got so curious on why Heiji liked this dish so much (this is the special episode of Movie 14).

This is worth a try especially if you are looking for a healthier alternative to pizza! It's soft and very filling. Amethyst loved this dish so much and so do I! However, you may want to remove some of the mayonnaise.

2.   Tonkatsu Yakisoba – Stir-fried noodles with breaded pork cutlet
3.

This was also the yakisoba that we ordered last time. This Yakisoba is a bit dry compared to the last Yakisoba we had.

Yocca Yogurt Drink

Amethyst said it tasted like Paracetamol! LOL! This reminds me of the drink I always buy at UST Car Park. I like the royal milk tea better.

Bubble Tea is located at SM North Edsa, SM the Block, Tomas Morato
and Wilson St. Greenhills

Hell-a lotta Study!

It’s hell week once again (a.k.a Prelims Week)!

And I’ve got some tips and tricks for you know, better study habits! J

Focus, focus, focus!
Love what you study! Remember, understanding is better than memorizing. Don’t just memorize every word, rather understand how it works.
Eat hearty meals and have a snack nearby! You cannot study with and empty stomach BUT studying with a really (and I mean really) full stomach will make you sleepy. NO GOOD! Stay away from oily foods. Okay - so above was actually not the best choice, but still

Good Luck and have fun studying!;)

David Archuleta Mall Show

David Archuleta really loves the Philippines! He brought down the entire crowd with his acapella singing and charming personality in his mall show! I hope you guys would also buy his latest album: The Other Side of Down.

Special thanks to my friend Anna, who's kind enough to lend me her own pictures of the mall show.

Red is really David's color!

Charming personality + Incredible Singing= David Archuleta
And he's proud that he tried riding a jeepney!

Sadly, we weren't allowed to take pictures with David so I guess we should be contented with the tarp. XD
Here with Ceska, proudly showing our autographed albums.

Romeo and Juliet Ballet

Finally, I had the chance to watch Shakespeare's classic: Romeo and Juliet in ballet performance. The great thing about the play is how the performers were able to narrate the story without the use of words, just ballet dancing and body movement... also another great thing is the play being free. :D Rachel and I took the opportunity to watch.

It's really a good show!

Here's the ever so popular balcony scene set-up of the play.

Romeo was devastated when he saw Juliet's 'dead' situation.

LOL, Juliet magically revives then to her horror, she found Romeo's dead body.

And now, they are both dead!!!

Finally, the curtain call!
I had to thank my friend Rachel for all the photos, her phone's camera is way better than mine! :D
